Mark your TBR lists! (And, I told you so!)

Not that this will be news to many of you – by now, it’s everywhere on the Internet. (Why can’t auctions take place on eastern hemisphere time?) But congrats, huzzah, kisses, hugs, and much much love to Courtney Milan, who just sold her first book, PROOF BY SEDUCTION, to HQN in a two-book, six-figure deal, at auction!

Words can’t express how excited I am for her, and how proud (and grateful) I am to be her critique partner. I’m thrilled, overjoyed, delighted, and just about everything else good…except surprised. Here’s the Publisher’s Marketplace blurb:

    There’s going to be so many great books released in 2009 by former Fanlitters… both you and CM, then Sara in 2010. YAY!!!

    I’m hoping the second book will be the fleshed out version of the Goddess of Small Things, but I don’t imagine she will actually indulge us with it.

    Skirbo, Book #2 is definitely not the fleshed out version of GOST. Book #3 probably won’t be either.

    If that book ever appears, it will probably be in drastically altered form. 🙂

    Big congrats! I was so fortunate to get to read this one and happy to say I typed the words, “This is obviously going to sell.” LOL!
