In more ways than one!

It’s just two weeks until the release of book three in my trilogy, A Lady of Persuasion. I’m so, so excited for readers to gets their hands on Toby and Bel’s romance. In some ways, it’s more than just their story–it’s a happy ending for their entire circle of friends, both old and new. On release day, September 29th, I’ll be inviting all of my friends (yes, this means you!) to join me right here for a big release-day party, with lots of fun and prizes.

The other countdown is the dwindling number of days until my deadline for turning in book two of the 2010 trilogy. The days are few, and my unfinished scenes are many. As a result, I’m getting very behind on the blogging and email, and I apologize…

I had a wonderful (and busy) weekend with my RWA chapter events. My own presentation seemed to go well–at least, I didn’t run over time! And Linda Howard was an inspiration and a joy.

Hey, it’s never too late for a few more glowing reviews of Goddess of the Hunt:
The Romance Reader gives it 5 hearts!
and
Night Owl Romance names it a Reviewer Top Pick!

Hope you’re all having a splendid week!

I just wanted to tell you that I have spent the past several days complaining to my husband about the stupidity of stores only stocking the first 2 titles of a trilogy only to discover the third won’t be out until the end of the month. You can laugh at me, I did. I guess I will have to wait until then to find out what happens to Toby.

I don’t know you, haven’t read your books (historicals are just not my thing), but I came across your site and felt bad for the ‘one lonely comment’, so, I thought I’d say something. Anything! 🙂

    Hi Tessa,

I’m counting down the days too! I hope you continue to see stellar sales for your trilogy. From all the buzz I’ve heard I truly believe that readers are falling in love with your books (just like I did) and that the reviewers are speaking from the heart when they offer 5 stars!!

    Tessa,

I’m thankful that A Lady of Persuasion doesn’t come out until next week … just finished Sophia’s story this morning. I don’t normally read historical novels, but I adore your work! If Persuasion was available, I’d be downloading it on my Kindle right now … and ignoring all those grades I need to do!

    Congrats on a fantastic trilogy!

I’m so sorry I’ve been so negligent about replying to these comments! It’s all in the name of writing more books, I assure you. 🙂

Shannon – You don’t have much longer to wait now! I really hope you like Toby’s story. I had so much fun writing it.

To “me” – Hey, whoever you are and however you got here, it’s all good! Thanks!

Sarah – Thank you so much! Your support and friendship has a been a real blessing through this whole thing!

Louise, thank you for your lovely comments! I’m so glad you’re enjoying the books. I love nothing more than distracting readers from work and housework — probably because I am so easily distracted myself! Hope you’ll tell me what you think of Toby’s story.

Debbie, thanks for reading and dropping by! I really can’t tell you how encouraging it is to hear from happy readers.

all the best to you all!
