Maggie and Gillian!

Congratulations, you two.  Please email me your wish lists and snail mail addys…

Thanks to everyone who commented, especially Gillian for giving us the link to Terry Jo’s blog.  Both darelings caught a virus this week, and we’ve spent several days quarantined and miserable.  Things are looking up today: we’ve decided everyone’s well enough to go on the overnight camping trip we’d planned.

Oh, and in case anyone’s wondering about that Unleash Your Story progress… Between the novella I completed, and some synopses I’ve been working on for my new proposal, I’ve written about 18,000 words this month so far.  Still 2000 to go before September 30th, and I know I can make it.  I’m taking a notebook and pen to the campground  🙂   As a team, the Chocolate Mafia has already raised over $1000 for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation!  And I’ll be pushing that total higher, as soon as I reach my goal and make my own contribution to celebrate.  Great work, everyone!

Oh yay! I want the anthology, but I’ll e-mail you too. Ever since I read about it on Candice Hern’s board, I’ve been antsy for it. She has, by the way, excellent reference sources for historical writers, but you probably know that. Thanks, Tessa!

Congrats to Maggie and Gillian! I hope Terry Jo’s niece Robynn’s surgery went well.

And great job on the word count, Tessa for Unleash Your Story!!!! Can I tell you how many times I complained about setting a goal of 30K this month?! I give it to anyone who wrote anything and hit their goals. But, I am glad I did it since this kicked me back into writing mode. I don’t know about anyone else, but I find it so hard to write beginnings. Endings are infinitely easier for me.

I hit my goal late Thursday night/very early Friday morning and decided to take a break for the weekend. Then, on Monday (today/yesterday…I’m not sure if this wordpress is set on EST or PST), I got Seduce Me at Sunrise and immediately devoured it.

Well, this is great, Tessa–I was just dropping by to say a huge THANK YOU to you and your readers for supporting Terry Jo and her niece in such a big way. I know she really appreciated it!! It is one day at a time but so far Robynn is doing really well. And winning a book is just icing on the cake.

Congrats on the Work count progress 🙂 I didn’t make it that far, but it was a great cause and an excellent reason to kick the writing back in gear.

Thanks for emailing, Gillian and Maggie! How convenient, that you both want the same book! I’ll pick up copies today.

Ely, your word count blows me away! Fantastic job. How better to celebrate than with Winnipin? I can’t imagine a better reward *happy sigh*
