Just wanted to say a quick huzzah for all of you who are taking on NaNoWriMo this year! I’m in awe of your commitment and I’ll be jealous of your progress. And I’ll be cheering you on and prepared to crack the whip when necessary, so write your little hearts out!

And…this is a very sweet sort of anniversary for me. I began writing GOTH exactly a year ago today. Happy birthday, Jeremy and Lucy!

Gosh, Tessa, a lot can happen in a year. And you MADE it happen. Thanks for sharing your journey!

Thanks for the virtual boost, Tessa. And your story is inspirational. You remind me that it is possible.

I will keep the hope alive!

I am a Nano this year, though I’m using it to write the middle 50K of my book. I know that’s illegal, but I need the self-imposed push. I missd out on Nano last year. I signed up, but spent the month sleeping (I had my son on Nov 21 last year).

I’ll keep posting my progress on my blog, so please, everyone check me out and feel free to crack the whip if you see me slacking or swimming in a sea of self-deprecation!

I would if I thought I could, but I can’t so I won’t. Last year was enough, it helped my finish my first manuscript. Doing it again now while writing a new book and revising the other would be torture. Good luck to all those entering though!!!

As Maggie said, a lot did happen in the year! Congrats!

Love your new photo—is that going to be on your back cover?

Thanks Tessa! I’m doing much better than expected. I feel like I can’t go to sleep unless I’ve written at least 1500 words. I hope I can keep it up.

    Happy birthday to GOTH!
